HR Trends 2021 and beyond

It’s been a big year of changes for organizations of all sizes! This is the perfect time to think strategically about your HR policies and practices. This session will talk about key issues for compliance, work environment and HR practices in 2021. Our discussion will focus on:

• Discussing the impact of ongoing work from home arrangements on employee engagement
• Reviewing policies and processes that may change given new work arrangements
• Identifying key development opportunities for leaders
• Sharing trends related to performance management and compensation

The past year was full of pivots and unforeseen changes, but this look ahead will provide the knowledge needed to build your HR strategy for the future.

Lunch Delivery:

Lunch has been so successful, that we have decided to do so again for the March program.  So that everyone can satisfy their hunger and enjoy the presentation, socially distanced, SLSAE will order a Pizza to be delivered to your location (as long as you are within a delivery sphere).  During registration, you will have the option to register with a lunch or without.  Deadline to register and receive lunch delivery is Monday, March 15 at 12:00 pm.

Speaker:  

Katie Magoon Owner People Solutions Center Katie Magoon is the Owner of People Solutions Center, a Human Resources Consulting firm in St. Louis.  Her client projects span all aspects of the HR practice including workplace dynamics, talent acquisition, performance management, on-boarding, compensation and compliance.  The combination of her HR background, and practical experience leading large teams in an operational setting, allows her to advise leaders on how to best leverage their greatest asset – their people! Prior to starting People Solutions Center, Katie spent over 20 years in corporate human resources including a Fortune 200 company and extensive experience with non-profit organizations.  During her 15 years at Progressive Insurance, Katie served as a Human Resources Manager, Recruiting Process Leader and Recruiting Director. Her experience includes leading a large team of remote Recruiters and Recruiting Managers to meet the business need of over 5,000 external hires per year in Claims and Contact Center roles. With 15+ years of leadership experience, Katie has always had a remote team of employees.  She is excited to share her experience and best practices with each of you!
