Program Title: Mediation and Conflict Resolution
Mediation is the process in which a neutral person creates a space where individuals who are in disagreement can identify the conflict, peacefully discuss solutions, and work toward long-lasting, sustainable agreements. Unlike litigation which has a winning and losing side, mediation gives each party the ability to voice their positions and rebuild relationships outside of a legal setting.
At its core, mediation turns adversaries into collaborators, bringing people together to discover solutions to both simple and complex problems. Join SLSAE and CRCSTL for lunch and the opportunity to learn more about mediation and how it can benefit you, your co-workers and boards, your friends, and your community.
